This is a stunning Malachite oval bowl which has a brass rim to prevent chipping. The brass matches very nicely with the malachite and really shows it off. Malachite is a dark green delightfully patterned semi-precious stone. This bowl has been handmade from deep green beautifully patterned tiles of malachite melded together with malachite cement. It is a wonderful bowl and would be a great addition to any home. This bowl is a genuine Malachite product of the Congo.

It has a copper edge which really sets the green of the Malachite off. This is to prevent the edge from chipping, as well as being highly decorative.
